In particular, askPOD, our in-app AI tax assistant, is powered in part by third-party AI service providers located outside Malaysia. When you submit a query to askPOD, it is transmitted to these providers to process your query, generate a response, and support related functions such as search, retrieval, and ranking. This involves the transfer of your data outside Malaysia. The specific providers used and the countries to which your data is transferred may change from time to time.

6.2 These providers process your data under their own terms. Some providers may use the data transmitted to them to train or improve their models, while others do not. Once your data has been transmitted, YYC may be unable to recall it or require its deletion, so although you may withdraw your consent to further processing, data already transmitted may not be retrievable or deleted.

6.3 By agreeing to these Terms and this Privacy Policy before using askPOD, you consent to the transfer and processing of your personal data as described above. We take reasonable steps and exercise due diligence to protect personal data transferred outside Malaysia, in accordance with the PDPA.

6.4 You should not enter sensitive personal data, confidential information, or personal data relating to any third party into askPOD.

7 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

10.2 For askPOD, we retain your conversation history for as long as necessary to provide the service, which may depend on your subscription package; the applicable retention period is published on the Platform and may change from time to time. Feedback you provide (including the rating, the response it relates to, and the email address associated with your account) is retained for as long as necessary to review and improve askPOD, and you may request its deletion by contacting our Data Protection Officer. YYC does not use askPOD data to train or develop AI models. However, as explained in section 6, some of these providers may do so.

11 Your Rights under the PDPA

11.1 You have the following rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010:

a) Access: Request access to your personal data held by us.

b) Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
